University of South Wales (USW) Exchange
The USW Partnership & Engagement Programme is a simple-to-access scheme providing funded scoping and feasibility support from University of South Wales’ experts.
The programme increases industry-academic collaboration and partnerships, whilst supporting the delivery of positive economic impacts for Wales.
There are 4 key strands of activity for which funded support can be accessed. These are: Economic Growth & Prosperity; Enhancing Workforce Skills; Establishing Industry-Academic Partnerships, and Civic Prosperity & Engagement.
AberInnovation
Aberystwyth Innovation and Enterprise Campus (AberInnovation) provides world-leading facilities and expertise within the biotechnology, agri-tech, and food and drink sectors, allowing business and academic collaboration to flouish in these disciplines.
In addition to the innovation hub, facilities in the campus include a future food centre, seed biobank and proccessing facility, analytical science centre and a biorefining centre.
The programme supports a company’s growth by de-risking R&D activities, facilitating new product and process development and accelerating a route to market.
CEMET
The Centre of Excellence in Mobile and Emerging Technologies (CEMET) provides Welsh SMEs with access to funded Research & Development.
CEMET works with you to utilise leading edge technology to create innovative products and services for your business that will shape the future.
From Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things to iOS, Android or Cross-platform apps the team have extensive experience in implementing emerging technology.
Fintech Wales
FinTech Wales provides an independent voice for the FinTech industry, both within Wales and beyond, which will help to champion and maximise the potential for all businesses in this sector.
As well as nurturing and supporting those businesses already in Wales, it aims to develop an ecosystem that will help new FinTech companies start-up or scale-up. Ultimately, the goal is to make Wales a leading pillar in the global FinTech community.
Business Wales – Accelerated Growth Programme
The Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme (AGP) offers individual support to high growth pre-revenue and SME businesses.
